Upma, uppumavu or uppittu is a dish originating from the Indian subcontinent, most common in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtrian, Odia and Sri Lankan Tamil breakfast, cooked as a thick porridge from dry-roasted semolina or coarse rice flour.

Native Crop has replaced semolina with little Millet and blended nutrition and taste to come out with this delightful and savoury ready to cook mix.

Little millet contains magnesium which can helps improve heart health. Vitamin B3 (niacin) in little millet helps lower cholesterol. Little millet is also a good source of phosphorus which, helps with fat metabolism, body tissue repair and energy production.

Ingredients: Little Millet (70%), Edible Vegetable Oil, cashew nut, Salt, Bengal gram dal, Green chilly, Ginger, coriander seeds, Red chili, Black gram dal, dry copra, Sugar, Curry leaves, Mustard seeds, Cinnamon, Turmeric, Cloves, Lime Seasoning power.

Boil 4 cups water (600ML) in a kadai with 1 Tablespoon Oil.
Add 2 Cups (200 g) of Khara Bhath Mix and mix well on a low flame.
Cook for 3-4 min. on low flame with constant mixing.
Keep aside for 5-6 min. with lid closed.
Add 1 tablespoon Oil or Ghee, Chopped Coriander Leaf and Mix Well.
Serve hot Khara Bhath with coconut chutney.

1. Garnish with Grated Coconut, for better taste.2. Add chopped tomato while boiling water for better taste.3. Measure means any cup of your choice.4. Store in cool, dry and hygienic place.5.
