Add 1 ¼ measure of water to 1 measure of Little Millet Idly Mix and mix gently to a smooth batter. | |
Keep aside for 2-3 minutes. | |
Pour the batter into Idly plates greased with vegetable oil and steam for 12-14 minutes. | |
Cool for 1 minute and remove the idly from plates. | |
Serve Hot Idlies with Chutney and Sambar. | |
Top the hot Idlies with Ghee for better taste. | |
Note:1. If pressure cooker is used for steaming Idli, do not use whistle.2. Do not keep the prepared batter for long time.3. You can make 10-12 Idlies of normal size using 200 g Little Millet Idli Mix.4. Store in cool, dry and hygienic place5. Once opened transfer the contents into an air tight container.6.
